Shaoxing Jiangong Middle School is a famous historical school with distinctive features and excellent quality. The predecessor of the school was Shaoxing Private Yuecai Middle School founded in 1915. In 1936, it merged with Shaoxing Private Junde Girls' Middle School and was renamed Shaoxing Private Yueguang Middle School, and the school motto of "sincere love and diligence" was established.
